8.3 Assessment and Examination - Incentive Mode
The normal practice is that students do postpone learning and revision until the examination period. The ideal situation is, however, that students study throughout the year, as knowledge is based on continuous hard work.
This method suggests that students are throughout subjected to properly monitored tests, assignments and class discussions. After completion of a module, the following route is followed:
- Those students who have achieved 75% + for a particular module, except for 400 level, automatically pass and are therefore not expected to write a formal examination.
- Students who score less than 75% are expected to sit for the normal examination.
